Fertilizers Industry Corporation, an affiliate partnership of Tugsas, will be sold by block sales method.

 ·  Traktor ve Tarim Makineleri Isletmeleri (Tractor and Agricultural Machinery

Business Operations) belonging to the Turkish Agricultural Equipment Corporation will be put on sale.

 ·   Cesme, Dikili, Kusadasi and Trabzon Harbors that belong to Turkish Maritime Lines Corporation will be given operation rights for 30 years.

 ·        For the sales to be carried into reality by sealed bids and by negotiations all through the bargaining method, the bidding deadline has been announced as November 11,2002.

MSB TO PURCHASE VARIOUS EQUIPMENT

 MSB (Ministry of National Defense) issued a three package tender annoncement in the Official Gazette on August 21, 2002 for the procurement of 2 each rubber wheel mobile crane, 1 each mobile approach and landing system and 2 each snow shoveling, sweeping and blowing (combined snow fighting vehicle) machine to meet the requirement of the Turkish Armed Forces. Companies imterested in this tender can obtain the specs from the Domestic Procurement Regional Offices of Ankara, Istanbul and Izmir in the country, and from the Armed Forces Attache’s Offices in London, Washington, Paris and Rome, and from the Military Attache’s Offices in Tokyo, Ottawa, Madrid and Budapest and Koblenz Turkish Millitary Laison Delegation’s Office abroad.

The bidder companies shall also submit a bid bond corresponding to 3 per cent of their bid. Tenders will be held on 7, 8 and 9 October 2002 at MSB External Procurement Dept at 14:00 hours. Letters of bid to be prepared in conformity with the specs can be delivered toMSB General Secretariat – General Documents Directorate on the bidding days by 10:00 hours.

TCDD TO BUY LOCOMOTION MOTOR BRUSH

 TCDD (State Railways Adm.) General Directorate issued an international tender call on September 17, 2002, in the Official Gazette for the procurement of 10.000 each locomotion motor brushes for the e43000 type electrical locomotives from domestic and/or international markets.

Companies interested in the tender can obtain specifications from TCDD General Directorate’s Central Cashier’s Office in Ankara and from Haydarpasa Cashier’s Office in Istanbul at the cost of TL 10 million.

 Together with the bids, companies will submit bid bonds. Companies to participate in the tender can submit their bids to be prepared in line with the specificationsi latest by October 16, 2002 until 14:00 hours to the Commission to convene in the Materials Office.
